This Privacy Policy explains how HueOfMe, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business from Arizona (“HueOfMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website, marketplace, and related services (the “Services”). HueOfMe is the controller of your personal data.

• Account & Profile Data (name, email, phone number, username, profile image, role, preferences).
• Booking & Transaction Data (appointments, services, locations, technician/client details, payment method metadata—never full card numbers).
• Communications (support inquiries; SMS interactions such as START/STOP/HELP and other keyword events).
• Device/Usage Data (IP address, device information, pages viewed, cookies or similar technologies).
• Precise Location Data* (GPS/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth signals) only with your explicit consent.

2) Legal Bases & Purposes

• Contract – create accounts; process bookings and payments.
• Legitimate Interest – fraud prevention, internal analytics, service improvement.
• Consent – marketing emails, push notifications, precise location, and SMS (where required).
• Legal Obligation – tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance.

3) How We Use & Share Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Services and marketplace features.
• Send transactional updates (e.g., confirmations, reminders, reschedules).
• Share booking details with Technicians to fulfill appointments.
• Work with processors (e.g., payments, messaging/carriers) under contract and confidentiality.
• Disclose data where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• We do not sell personal data for money.

4) SMS Program & Mobile Privacy

HueOfMe offers an optional SMS program for booking alerts and account updates. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring messages related to your HueOfMe activity. Message frequency varies (typically 1–4 messages per appointment). Message & data rates may apply.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Help: Reply HELP for help. We honor START/UNSTOP to re-subscribe and log opt-in/out events for compliance. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Required Mobile Privacy Clause: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with processors and carriers solely to enable message delivery and as required by law. We use links on our own domain (no public URL shorteners).

5) Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, and measure performance. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may affect functionality.

6) Precise Location & Geolocation *

With opt-in consent, we may collect device-level GPS/Wi-Fi data to suggest nearby Technicians and detect fraud. You may withdraw consent in your device settings at any time.

7) Your Rights

Subject to local law, you may access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your data, and object to certain processing. We verify identity and respond within the timelines required by law.

8) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9) Data Retention

We keep account and booking records for 7 years to comply with tax and legal duties. Raw location logs are deleted or anonymized after 30 days. Backups purge on a 35-day rolling window.

10) International Transfers

Where data moves outside your jurisdiction, we may rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. Copies are available upon request.

11) “Do Not Sell or Share”

HueOfMe does not sell personal data. If we ever engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, a prominent “Do Not Share My Personal Information” link will enable you to opt out.

12) Data-Breach Notification

We will notify affected users and regulators without undue delay and, where required (e.g., GDPR), within applicable timeframes after becoming aware of a breach.

13) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have done so, we delete it promptly.

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the new policy on this page with a new effective date.

15) Limitation of Liability

Except where prohibited by law, HueOfMe’s liability for any privacy or security incident is limited to direct damages up to USD 100. This clause does not limit non-waivable rights.
